Kingswood College Kandy Old Boy’s Union UK Branch AGM

The annual general meeting of Kingswood College Kandy was held on 28 September at Harin Restaurant, South Harrow. The meeting was chaired by the outgoing secretary Prasad Thalgaspitiya. The meeting proceeded in accordance with the agenda considering the minutes of the AGM of 2012, followed by Secretary’s report, Treasurer’s report and events of the past year, highlighted, Rugby tournament and cricket team for successful achievements in FOC.

Members elected their new committee for 2013-14. Mr Asela Wijewickrama was elected president, Mr Chinthaka Deegau Wickramasinghe elected secretary and Mr P.L.J.Herath elected treasurer.

Incoming president for 2013-2014, Mr Asela Wijewickrama thanked outgoing committee for all the hard work done during a very successful year. He welcomed the new members to the committee and expressed a wish that everyone participating enthusiastically in all the planned activities. The meeting was followed by a sumptuous dinner enjoyed by all present.
