BUDDHISM IN DAILY LIFE

LONDON BUDDHIST VIHARA

A ten week course is starting Thursday 9th January 2014.

Every Thursday 7.00 to 9.00 pm.

Ten classes which focus on the application of the Buddha’s teachings to our life in the everyday world.

9th  January:
The Criteria of Good and Bad, and the Buddhist Concept of Evil 16 January Precepts for laity and monks, and discipline for monks.

23rd January:
Four divine virtues (Brahma Viharas). 30 January Generosity (Dana).

6th February:
Layman’s duties towards his associates (Part I).

13th February
Layman’s duties towards his associates (Part II).

20th February
The importance of family life.

27th February
Dispelling fear and worry.

6th March
Ecology and economic welfare.

13th March
Bodhisatta ideals.
