President Mahinda Rajapaksa said that he is not a king but just a temporary custodian of the state.
“When I was coming to here, these children called me ‘dearest king’. Please, children, I would appreciate it if you call me ‘dearest father’. I am not a king. As I point out every day, I am just a temporary custodian of the state,” President Rajapaksa said, addressing an event at the Makandura Maha Vidyalaya.
