Following the success of the inaugural Football Fiesta in 2012, the Sri Lankan Football Organisation UK (SLFOUK) is proud to announce the second edition of the annual Football Fiesta schedule to be held on Sunday 19th May 2013.
The tournament, which is open to Sri Lankans of all ages and football abilities will be held at the grounds of Ashford Town Football Club, Short Lane, Stanwell, Middlesex TW19 7BH. We invite all Sri Lankans who eager to play football to contact us to register team in the tournament.
The SLFOUK aims to raise funds to develop and nurture football among the youth in deprived areas of Sri Lanka, while promoting football among our community in the united kingdom. We believe that there is a need to bring Sri Lankan football enthusiasts of all communities and backgrounds together to help build bridges between all those who share a passion for football as well as our beautiful country.
This year Football Fiesta will provide an opportunity for the Sri Lankan community to congregate for a fun-filled day in the sun, whilst admiring the football talent and enjoying Sri Lankan food and snacks. We cordially invite all Sri Lankan football enthusiasts, Old Boy Associations, Sri Lankan clubs in theUK and all other Sri Lankans of all ages to come and participate in the tournament.
