The Battle of the Queenz 2026 Women’s Softball Cricket Tournament was held successfully at Amersham Cricket Club, bringing together teams, families, supporters and well-wishers for a memorable day of cricket, celebration and community spirit.
The event was very well organised, with an excellent atmosphere throughout the day. The tournament highlighted not only sporting talent, but also teamwork, confidence, friendship and the strength of women in the Sri Lankan community in the UK. All participating teams played with great energy, discipline and sportsmanship, making the event enjoyable for everyone who attended.
A special congratulations goes to Devi Balika, who were crowned Champions of Battle of the Queenz 2026. Visakha secured the Runners-Up position, while Ananda Balika achieved Third Place after a strong performance.
The organisers extend their sincere thanks to all teams, sponsors, volunteers, officials, supporters and families who helped make the event a great success. Their support and contribution played an important role in creating a professional, joyful and unforgettable tournament.

Battle of the Queenz 2026 කාන්තා සැහැල්ලු පන්දු ක්රිකට් තරඟාවලිය අමර්ෂම් ක්රිකට් සමාජයේදී ඉතා සාර්ථක ලෙස පැවැත්විණි. කණ්ඩායම්, පවුල්, සහායකයන් සහ සුභ පැතූ සියලු දෙනා එක්වූ මෙම අවස්ථාව, ක්රිකට්, සමගිය, සතුට සහ ප්රජා ආත්මය පිරුණු අමතක නොවන දිනයක් බවට පත්විය.
තරඟාවලිය ඉතා හොඳින් සංවිධානය කර තිබූ අතර, දිනය පුරාම උණුසුම් සහ සතුටුදායක වාතාවරණයක් පැවතිණි. මෙම තරඟාවලිය ක්රීඩා දක්ෂතාවය පමණක් නොව, කණ්ඩායම් හැඟීම, විශ්වාසය, මිත්රත්වය සහ එක්සත් රාජධානියේ ශ්රී ලාංකික ප්රජාව තුළ කාන්තාවන්ගේ ශක්තියද මනාව පෙන්වා දුන්නාය. සහභාගී වූ සියලුම කණ්ඩායම් උනන්දුවෙන්, විනයෙන් සහ උසස් ක්රීඩා ආත්මයකින් තරඟ කළ අතර, එය පැමිණ සිටි සියලු දෙනාටම රසවත් අත්දැකීමක් විය.
